I bought this pocket-size Higonokami with the leather holder as a gift for a friend and it was very well appreciated. The smaller size is great for everyday carry and the Aogami warikomi steel is good quality. The brown holder is a nice touch for protection / presentation. Great mandoline slicer! I've only used this Benriner a couple of times so far, but I'm very happy with it. It's well-made, cuts cleanly and evenly, and feels sturdy. This Higonokami with Aogami warikomi steel is beautifully made. The 75mm blade is the perfect size. The brass handle has a nice weight and the blue steel edge holds a razor-sharp edge. So far so good! Excellent Tools were very helpful and responsive and dispatched the item (with others) quickly and everything arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with this purchase - highly recommended!
