Good craftsmanship, folding is smooth. The all black color is looking cool. Small verdict, the edge not as sharp. Will sharpen it when got free time.

The parcel is well packed. First time use Nakiri, mainly use to cut vegetables, initial impression is positive compare to other shape knife, the taller profile and the flat tip is very handy in transfer material from cutting board. This stone makes a nice slurry which helps during sharpening. I really like the feedback of the stone. It is softer than a Naniwa or shapton.

Gets sharper and holds an edge better than my old VG10 santoku. It is ground with a thinner profile, making it a more efficient slicer. They sent me the exact knife that was in the picture. Shipped quickly. I am very happy with this purchase.
