Shipping Service

Most of countries in the world is likely to be available for our shipment. If there is no shipping option during the check out, please contact us.

We use the various shipping service. We have inventory in Japan and the USA.

You are able to choose a shipping carrier from many variations.

From Japan: Japan Post, DHL, FedEx, UPS
*Our website didn't set EMS, Postal service parcel. If using these service is preferred, contact us. 

From the USA: Our contracted shipping providers.

Remote Area

If shipping option has chooses DHL, FedEx or UPS and the shipping address designated as a remote area, we charges remote area charge. The charge is table below. Our website hasn't installed automatically detects Remote Area system yet. Once the buyer checked out, although the shipping address is in the remote area, we shall contact you and invoice remote area charge.

Remote area charge waiver

Purchasing amount exceeds the threshold, Okawarishoukai.com waive remote area charge. There are no hidden cost during the shopping. (The check out price doesn't include any importing costs)

Discount term of shipping

Each country's zone has designated depends on the shipping service company. Each zone set the different shipping cost that Okawarishoukai.com doesn't offer free shipping due to Zone shipping cost difference. In stead of offering free shipping, our store offers volume discount.

1. Purchasing items greater than JPY 30,000 or equal, we do 10% discount. This discount amount could be absorbed high international shipping cost.
2. Remote area charge shall waive if purchasing product order amount exceeds a threshold(Refer the table above).

Lost package

Losing package happens due to the international shipping. Specifically Japan post small packet (e-packet) occur this issue. Okawarishoukai.com strive to resolve this issue and working with the buyer. Consequently, if lost package is happened we refund full amount of the transactions. If the shopping budget allow to choose nor Japan Post, product(s) delivers you fast and reliable.

The process of refund for lost package shipped by Japan Post

1. Contact us if the package hasn't delivered shipping address longer than shipping duration yet.
   (Refer to Japan post shipping duration section)
2. Okawarishoukai.com report and start investigation with Japan Post. We send you the copy of the investigation form via email.
3. Japan Post report us the result of the package investigation. (Approximately 1 month)
4. The investigation result is lost package, we refund full amount.

*Some of the country's small packet doesn't effect a tracking update, nevertheless the investigation form get the result either delivered or lost.

** The reason of the buyer didn't received package importing process & importing costs, the package is outside of lost package definition. It is the buyer's fault that such order is out of the refund.

Handling time & Duration

Our store's handling time sets 3 business days the product category is in stock.

Sourcing product from supplier handling time takes 7 business days.

*Handling time doesn't include Weekend, Japanese national holiday.

Out of stock or no longer available product

We often maintain inventory level and product listings. Although, if ordered products are out of stock or handling time takes longer than set our days, we contact you shortly to resolve this issue. Cancelling reason is out of stock or long handling time, Okawarishoukai.com refund you in full.

Duration

Shipping duration depends on the shipping company. These charts describes the Estimation of each shipping company's durations.

*Okawarishoukai.com doesn't liable of each shipping company's duration. Contact chosen shipping company the status of the package. We will be able to contact shipping company behalf of you if the support needs. Such as shipping has been taking longer than duration.

 Custom clearance & Import charge

Importing charge

Purchasing product(s) from oversea is subject to importing and custom clearance. Many countries charge VAT, import duty and any related cost of importing(Hereafter we use importing costs).  Shipping company might collect importing service fee if it needs. 

Our store's shopping Inco-terms is DAP (Okawarishoukai.com doesn't have any responsibility of importing costs). Any importing costs are buyer's responsibility and importing  costs have to pay by buyer. We deem the buyer waived product(s) and shipping cost if custom clearance doesn't proceed nor doesn't pay importing costs.

To avoiding unexpected extra cost, We encourage you to contact importing country's custom and choosing shipping company. Letting them know what the buyer suppose to importing shall be cleared importing costs.

Okawarishoukai.com hasn't registered EU, UK VAT ID or any equitable registration exclude the USA. We don't collect VAT, instead of not paying VAT for us, shipping company or custom levy importing costs. Please expect such importing costs shopping with our website. For the USA buyer, we collect Sales Tax to file and remit each jurisdiction.

Custom clearance

Custom or shipping company shall contact to the buyer if additional custom clearance needs. In such case, we are ready to stand by you. Please contact us via email with document(s) of the custom clearance. Shipping company should sent such documents to the importer. We provide you information of needing to custom clearance.
