Fukamizu

Fukamizu Hamono established traditional Japanese metal wares with edge industry since 1953 in Kagoshima prefecture(Southern part of Japan, Kyushu region). Knowledge and skills have been accumulating over a half and quarter century of fixed blade production. Today, the Fukamizu Hamono – is a modern production with the contemporary production tools and techniques, which produces both beautiful traditional Japanese black-forged Kurouchi knives using time-tested craft techniques, and cutting tools made of the Hitachi Yasugi steels. Each product of the Fukamizu Hamono, like all truly Japanese craft. it is an amazing interweaving of innovative technology with deep traditional Japanese aesthetics in the form of beautifully finished Wa-Hocho carbon steel kitchen knives.

Best bang for bucks

I bought 3 knives Seki Kanetsugu Zuiun SG2/R2 petty and bunka, and yoshihiro ginsan gyuto. Yoshihiro has become my everyday now, 3 weeks and it still feels like new, cuts like new. I pretty much barely use my other knives haha. Absolute performance king for the money I spent. Best buy. I will buy more stuff from them if I ever need anything. Also absolutely quick delivery and best packaging I have seen.

I bought this pocket-size Higonokami with the leather holder as a gift for a friend and it was very well appreciated. The smaller size is great for everyday carry and the Aogami warikomi steel is good quality. The brown holder is a nice touch for protection / presentation. Excellent Tools dispatched quickly as expected. Very happy overall!

Great mandoline slicer! I've only used this Benriner a couple of times so far, but I'm very happy with it. It's well-made, cuts cleanly and evenly, and feels sturdy. The adjustable thickness settings work smoothly and it's easy to clean. Excellent Tools provided great service with quick dispatch and everything arrived in perfect condition. This Higonokami with Aogami warikomi steel is beautifully made. The 75mm blade is the perfect size. The brass handle has a nice weight and the blue steel edge holds a razor-sharp edge. So far so good! Excellent Tools were very helpful and responsive and dispatched the item (with others) quickly and everything arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with this purchase - highly recommended!
